Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Sexually Assaulted Teen In 1975: NYC Suit
The Aerosmith singer groped and simulated sex with a 17-year-old model inside a phone booth during 1975, a new lawsuit contends.
NEW YORK CITY — Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler sexually assaulted a 17-year-old model inside a New York City phone booth during 1975, a new lawsuit contends.
The former teen model filed a civil complaint Tuesday against Tyler in Manhattan court that details two instances of unwanted sexual contact by the singer on Sixth Avenue and the Warwick Hotel in Midtown.
The teen girl, who met Tyler and his entourage on the street, had irritated the singer with a comment about song lyric, the lawsuit states. He grabbed her by the hand and forced her into a Sixth Avenue phone booth, where he stuck his tongue down her throat and pinned her against its wall, the lawsuit contends.

"As Tyler was mauling and groping Plaintiff, he was humping her pretending to have sex with Plaintiff," the lawsuit states. "Others stood by outside the phone booth laughing and as passersby watched and witnessed, nobody in the entourage intervened."
"This was her first sexual experience."

The complaint is the second recent lawsuit against Tyler that accuses him of illicit sexual contact with a teen girl during the 1970s.
The new lawsuit states the former teen model had traveled from her home in Queens for a fashion show, where a friend made arrangements to meet Aerosmith.
After the assault in the phone booth, the dazed teen stayed with the group as they traveled to the Warwick Hotel because she relied on her friend for transportation, the lawsuit states.
Tyler then sexually assaulted her again, pinning her against a wall and putting his tongue down her throat, the lawsuit contends. He stopped and left for his room, but not before he told her that'd call her to it, the lawsuit states.
The teen sobbed in the hotel lobby until a call came down letting one of Tyler's colleagues know that she could go up to his room, according to the lawsuit.
"Plaintiff couldn't talk and was paralyzed," the lawsuit states. "She shook her head in defiance and looked for a way to escape or get assistance. After Tyler's colleague offered to take her to the
room and Plaintiff resisted, Plaintiff bolted towards the door where the doorman assisted Plaintiff's escape. The doorman flung Plaintiff into a cab outside the hotel. He yelled to the driver, 'go.'"
The lawsuit accuses Tyler of committing gender motivated violence and seeks an undetermined amount of damages.
