Coronavirus Suspected In Another 2 NYC Patients

Four people are now being tested for the illness, while results on a fifth came back negative.

NEW YORK CITY — Another two patients suspected of having coronavirus have been quarantined in the city while tests are carried out, health experts said Wednesday.

That means four people in the city have possibly contracted the illness. Test results on a fifth came back negative, health department officials said Wednesday.

Of the new cases, one person is in a hospital, while the second did not have severe enough symptoms to require hospitalization. They are both under 40 and have recently traveled to China, the health department said. It's unknown which hospital the patient is in.
