  1. Former Governor Andrew Cuomo made a public appearance at a church in Brooklyn on Sunday, blaming "cancel culture" for his fall from grace last spring and summer, when he was accused by over half a dozen women of sexual misconduct. Over the past week, Cuomo's political campaign has spent over one million dollars on an ad blitz to improve his reputation, although he isn't currently running for any office. (amNY)
  2. A man slashed a woman's face unprovoked in Manhattan's Lower East Side on Sunday. The NYPD's hate crime division has been alerted about the incident. (New York Post )
  3. The 15-minute grocery delivery service 'Buyk' suspended operations in New York City, after it lost its funding due to U.S. sanctions on Russia. 15-minute online delivery apps has been heavily criticized by the city's politicians, as Patch previously reported. (NBC New York)
  4. Mask and vaccine restrictions are officially relaxed as of today. The changes apply to school children over the age of five, as well as restaurant goers and shoppers, who will no longer need to show proof of vaccination. (News 12 Westchester)
  5. New York City politicians are urging Mayor Adams to reconsider his proposal to cut funding to the Department of Sanitation by almost $50 million. Adams says his cuts would not result in additional layoffs, but instead would be the result of not filling currently vacant positions. He's also suspended the city's composting program, citing low interest from residents. (Gothamist)
