Fall-like weather is on the way to NYC with temperatures descending to the low 60s to start the weekend.
The dose of autumn began with a wet and cloudy day Friday: temperatures tonight are forecast to go down to 64.

The air will remain cooler than normal as the weekend goes on. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid to upper 70s.
The cool down is a result of a high pressure system from northern Canada. It will bring temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees below normal this weekend.
