Family Of 3 Found Dead, Stabbed In NYC Home: Cops

The trio, which included a 5-year-old, were found dead early Sunday in what is being considered a homicide, NYPD officials said.

NEW YORK CITY — A family of three, including a 5-year-old boy, were found dead and riddled with stab wounds inside a Bronx apartment building, authorities said.

The deaths of Jonathan Rivera, 38, Hanoi Peralta, 33, and Kayden Rivera, 6, are being investigated as homicides, police said.

The grisly crime unfolded Sunday about 6:40 a.m., when Jonathan Rivera was found in a first floor hallway inside 674 E. 136th St. with stab wounds to his torso, authorities said.

A 911 call brought police to the building near Cypress Avenue, where they found Peralta and Kayden Rivera unconscious with stab wounds inside an apartment, NYPD officials said.

All three were pronounced deceased by medics at the scene, authorities said.

The deaths remain under investigation.
