Man Charged For Stabbing Woman In Neck With Broken Bottle, Police Say
The incident happened in Soho around 3 p.m. near the corner of Wooster and Broome streets on Monday.
NEW YORK CITY — A homeless man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed a woman in the neck with a broken bottle in an unprovoked attack in Manhattan on Monday, police announced.
Muslim Brunson, 46, has also been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
The incident happened in Soho around 3 p.m. near the corner of Wooster and Broome streets, Patch previously reported.

Brunson is accused of sneaking behind a 25-year-old woman who was walking down the street and stabbing her, police said.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.

The suspect apparently threw the bottle at another woman before attacking the 25-year-old victim.
Brunson was taken into custody a short distance from the scene, police said.
