Man Mugged For $1 In The Bronx Dies, Police Say
Juan Fresnada died Friday, police said.

THE BRONX, NY – A man beaten by muggers who attacked him and his friend for a single dollar in The Bronx has died, police said.
Juan Fresnada, 60, died Friday, three days after he was kicked and punched by a group of robbers on Third Avenue in Morrisania at 1:30 a.m.
The attackers demanded their property and, when the two men refused, they were punched to the ground. The muggers took a single dollar from them and ran away, police said.

Surveillance video caught the vicious attack. The robbers had not been found as of Monday, police said.

Fresnada's friend was also punched but refused medical attention, police said.
