NEW YORK CITY — A 70-year-old man was stabbed in the head and chest inside a luxury apartment building in Chelsea early Tuesday morning, police said.

The incident happened inside a building on West 28th Street around 1 a.m., police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
