Marvel Actor Jonathan Majors' Domestic Violence Trial Begins
Majors arrived at a Manhattan court Wednesday morning for trial over whether he assaulted his ex-girlfriend, according to reports.
NEW YORK CITY — Actor Jonathan Majors, famed for his role as the Marvel villain Kang the Conqueror, is set for a new spotlight: a defendant in a criminal trial.
Majors walked into a Manhattan courtroom Wednesday morning for a scheduled trial in a domestic violence case, video shows.
The trial will cover accusations that he assaulted his former girlfriend in a private car while on the way to his apartment in Chelsea in March.

The actor has pleaded not guilty and his lawyer Priya Chaudhry has adamantly contended he is innocent.
"We are confident that he will be fully exonerated," Chaudhry told Variety in April.

Majors' arrest in March prompted other women to come forward and accuse the actor of abuse.
