New York City School Closings For March 15 After Snowstorm
Will NYC schools be closed for the second day in a row?

NEW YORK, NY — New York City schools closed Tuesday as officials readied for a blizzard that was forecasted to drop between one and two feet of snow on the city. But hopes of back-to-back snow days were quickly dashed by the underwhelming storm that rolled in Tuesday morning.
Mayor Bill de Blasio confirmed at a Tuesday afternoon press conference that the city's public schools would be open on Wednesday, March 15, declaring that, "the situation is now under control."
Still, Patch will be keeping an eye on any stray school closings for Wednesday, March 15 and will update this post with the latest information as it becomes available. If your school is closed Wednesday, send us an email at patch_nyc@patch.com.
