  1. Former President Donald Trump should be held in contempt of the court, said New York's top prosecutor Attorney General Letitia James. Trump has missed a deadline to overturn documents requested as part of an ongoing investigation, and could face a $10,000 per day fine until he does so, according to James. (Patch)
  2. To-go alcoholic beverages may now be included in New York State's budget, after the proposal had previously been scrapped by lawmakers. As of this writing, it appears that Governor Hochul has reached a preliminary budget deal with the legislature, although the details haven't been finalized. (New York City Patch)
  3. Mayor Eric Adams is under fire for being spotted dining out with former Governor Andrew Cuomo the second time this year. Their dinner comes at the same time current Governor Hochul is negotiating the state's budget, leading some critics to say their meeting is 'insulting' to her. (New York City Patch)
  4. A Brooklyn company, Lintech Electric, is charged with underpaying 200 workers it contracted for projects connected to NYCHA. Attorney General Letitia James is requiring that Lintech pay the workers a total of $900,000 in back wages. (Patch)
  5. The FDNY responded to six separate fires on the Upper West Side Thursday morning, at least one of which appears to have been set intentionally outside of the Jewish deli and restaurant Barney Greengrass. (New York City Patch)
