NYC Named The Wealthiest City In The World: See New Rankings
New York City is joined by four other U.S. cities in the top 10 of the list.
NEW YORK CITY — The city that never sleeps is home to the wealthiest residents in the world, according to a newly released report.
Henley & Partners' annual world's wealthiest cities report ranked the top 50 cities globally by millionaire and billionaire count.
The report also looked at "expert insights on economic mobility, prime property, the investment migration sector and wealth management."

Currently, the city has 384,500 millionaires, 818 centi-millionaires(individuals worth over $100 million) and 66 billionaires.
New York City is joined by four other U.S. cities in the top 10 of the list. The Bay Area, which includes San Francisco and Silicon Valley, came in second place. Los Angles rounded out the top five, and Chicago was placed as the tenth-wealthiest city in the world.

Tokyo ranked the highest among global cities, placing in third place.
