NYC Parks Department Mocks Donald Trump Statue's Tiny Man Parts

"NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small," the department said in an official statement.

NEW YORK, NY — After a long morning being ogled and groped by hundreds of gleeful New Yorkers in Union Square, a fully nude, life-sized and woefully under-endowed Donald Trump statue installed by guerrilla street artists was ripped from its base and transported off site Thursday afternoon by employees with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

But the fun had just begun.

Immediately following the statue's removal, NYC Parks officials issued the following statement.

"NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small," the statement said.

Taking a distant second in the official statement game Thursday was the city's mayor, Bill de Blasio.

Asked about the statue at a press conference, de Blasio reportedly replied: "That is a frightening thought. When he's wearing clothes I don't like him."

As of this posting, Trump had yet to issue a statement of his own.

New York City's naked Trump statue — one of various replicas installed across the country Thursday — had not been destroyed as of late afternoon and was being stored in a top-secret location by NYC Parks officials, a source familiar with the operation told Patch.
