NYC Restaurant Week 2020: Reservations, Deals

More than 360 New York City restaurants will be offering discounted meals between Jan. 21 and Feb. 9.

NEW YORK, NY — Hundreds of New York City restaurants will offer diners special deals between Jan. 21 and Feb. 9 for the bi-annual NYC Restaurant Week promotion. Reservations open on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

This year, 365 restaurants across all five city boroughs will take part in the promotion, according to New York City's tourism agency NYC & Company. The participating restaurants dozens of cuisines including Asian Fusion, Middle Eastern, Steakhouses, Soul Food and Latin American.

Twenty-three of the restaurants in this year's NYC Restaurant Week are first-time participants in the promotion, according to NYC & Company. NYC Restaurant Week is currently in its 28th year.

"The program earned its great reputation from locals and visitors alike who use it to explore vibrant neighborhoods across the five boroughs in pursuit of diverse culinary experiences at a terrific value," Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company said in a statement.

Price points for this winter's restaurant week differ from past promotions. Participating restaurant will serve two-course brunches or lunches for $26 and three-course dinners for $42. Most restaurants will be offering the promotional prices Monday-Friday, with some continuing the promotion into the weekend.

Certain spots may only be offering the promotion solely for lunch or dinner, so be sure to check before booking a reservation. Costs of beverages, tips and taxes are not covered by the promotion.
