NEW YORK CITY — The city might be preparing for the second snow storm to hit in a month, but New York school kids had better not sleep in.

There are no plans for a snow day Wednesday, despite forecasters predicting 3 inches of snow which will start falling at 3 a.m.

"I would not anticipate schools being closed for this event," said Kathryn Garcia, the Department of Sanitation's commissioner, Tuesday.
