NYC Subway Changes For March 14 Snowstorm

You'll be able to use above-ground subway stations soon, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.

NEW YORK, NY — The city's above-ground subway stations will reopen at 6 p.m. following today's less-than-impressive blizzard that shut just about everything down during its lead-up, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.

Limited Metro North train service will be restored at 6 p.m. as well, Cuomo said, on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines. Long Island Rail Road was running on regular weekday service with just a few delays.

NYC bus service "remains active but limited," the governor's office said. "Expected to begin running normally on Wednesday at 5 a.m."
