NYC Subway Delays: 9 Lines Running Behind
The 7 train was partly suspended Monday morning, while seven other lines ran with delays, officials said.

NEW YORK CITY — Thousands of straphangers likely had a slow start to their workweeks.
The 7 train was partly suspended at least through Monday's morning rush hours between Queensboro Plaza and 34th Street-Hudson Yards, MTA officials said.
The culprit was construction work, officials posted.

"We are continuing to complete planned work between Manhattan and Queens," an MTA post stated.
And the 7 train wasn't the only subway line running behind.

Six other lines were delayed during the morning rush hour.
A and C trains headed north ran with delays as crews dealt with a signal problem near Liberty Avenue, the MTA posted at 7:53 a.m.
Trains along the 4 and 5 lines went slow after NYPD officers responded to a disruptive person on a train at 138th Street-Grand Concourse, an 8:33 a.m. post states.
A 6 train that had its brakes activated at Third Avenue-138th Street caused slowdowns on trains headed south, the MTA posted at 8:40 a.m.
Signal problems at 47th-50th Street-Rockefeller Center caused delays for F trains headed north and M trains going in both directions, officials said at 6:39 a.m.
And the Rockaway shuttle ran with delays in both directions because of a train with a mechanical problem near Rockaway Beach-Beach 116th Street, the MTA posted at 8:19 a.m.
