NEW YORK CITY — The relatively snow-free winter of 2020 is set to continue this week, though a string of rainy days are predicted to end in a big freeze.

The mercury is set to drop more than 30 degrees on Thursday, from a high of 51 in the daytime to a low of 20 that night, according to the National Weather Service.
