NYC Weather: Bitter Cold Continues Before Midweek Rain
Expect wind chills near 0 degrees on Tuesday morning.

The mercury will reach a high near just 28 degrees on Tuesday as clouds gather throughout the day, the weather service's forecast says. But brutal wind chills will make it feel like 0 to 10 degrees into the late morning, the forecast shows.
Tuesday's freeze follows a savagely cold Monday on which the temperature got as cold as 4 degrees in Central Park, just 6 degrees above the record low of -2 for that day, weather service records show.
