NYC's First Great Flood of Summer 2016 Ends in Perfect Double Rainbow Sunset
It was enough to make us wonder: Did the storm ever really happen at all?

NEW YORK, NY — After an hour or two of all-out flash-flood chaos across the five boroughs Monday evening, as documented by a smartphone army of millions, the thunderclouds parted and the sun began to sink behind the sea and the clouds turned ridiculous colors and, uh, a perfect double rainbow sunset formed over New York City.
And once again, as if on duty, the people of the city lifted their smartphones to the sky.
Here is what they saw.
Have never seen anything like this. Double rainbow during sunset right now. #newyork #brooklyn pic.twitter.com/bvfFozh2Ji
