SantaCon NYC 2019: They're Coming

'Tis the season to explain to your niece why Santa is throwing up in that trash can.

NEW YORK CITY — You better watch out. Feel free to cry. Also to shout, "Oh why lord, why?"

SantaCon is coming to town.

Hoards of drunken, disheveled Santas will bombard the bars of New York City for SantaCon 2019 on Saturday, Dec. 14.

While SantaCon organizers say the event is a charity fundraiser — and demand a $13 payment from participating Santas — New Yorkers know it as the day they'll need to provide grim explanations to children.

Organizers have done their best to encourage behavior befitting of a Santa by issuing what they call the "5 Fs of SantaCon:

  1. Don’t f--- with Kids
  2. Don’t f--- with Cops
  3. Don’t f--- with Bar Staff
  4. Don’t f--- with NYC
  5. Don’t f--- with Santa’s Charity Mission

But judging from past years, these might not be enough. So New York City Patch would like to add a few more friendly suggestions to our incoming guests:

Use your mouth words:

Please don't urinate on our bicycles.

Red truck is for fire, not fun-time ride:

Don't — and we're not sure why this needed to be said — fake sneeze to creepily hit strangers with your Santa hat:
