Scaffolding Collapses Onto Sidewalk In Manhattan: FDNY
A number of streets were closed off following the collapse.

NEW YORK CITY — Two cranes collapsed onto scaffolding outside a vacant building in Manhattan on Friday, officials said.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. at a building on Ninth Avenue off West 38th Street, according to the FDNY.
A number of streets were closed off following the collapse. The Department of Buildings and FDNY are investigating the collapse.

According to CBS News, a small spider crane on the roof was lifting a second crane when they both fell, breaking the scaffolding below and a tree on the sidewalk.
It is not known at this time if any injuries were reported following the incident.
