NEW YORK CITY — A man heard "voices" before police believe he fatally stabbed three of his family members, including a 5-year-old boy, inside a Bronx apartment building, according to reports.
A 19-year-old man is being held in a psychiatric ward, where he told staff details about the triple stabbing Sunday, the New York Postfirst reported.
The man was "hearing voices" before the stabbings of his father Jonathan Rivera, 38, his father's girlfriend, Hanoi Peralta, 33, and their son, Kayden Rivera, 5, the Post reported.

All three were found fatally stabbed inside 674 E. 136th St., near Cypress Avenue, authorities said.
The man was babysitting his half-brother Kayden Rivera Saturday night while his father and dad's girlfriend went out on a date, according to the report.
