Trump Fined $10K For Violating Gag Order In NYC Civil Trial
A judge found Donald Trump's witness stand testimony about comments he made about a court worker Wednesday "not credible," reports say.

NEW YORK CITY — Former President Donald Trump sat on the witness stand before being fined $10,000 for violating a gag order in his New York City civil fraud trial.
A judge found Trump's testimony that he didn't make comments about a court worker Wednesday "not credible," NBC reported.
Trump testified that his remark to reporters about "a person who's very partisan sitting alongside" the judge actually referred to Michael Cohen, a former lawyer for the mogul.

But the former president didn't fully let the judge's clerk off the hook.
"I think she's very biased against us, I think we've made that clear," Trump said.

Trump had previously shared a negative post about the clerk, prompting Judge Arthur Engoron to order trial participants not to comment publicly about his staff.
Engoron last week fined Trump $5,000 after the post was left on Trump's campaign website for weeks.
