Video: Pro-Palestinian Protesters Shut Down Grand Central Station
The protest happened Monday evening and briefly suspended train service at the station.
NEW YORK CITY — Scores of Pro-Palestine protesters took over Grand Central Station in Midtown as part of a demonstration coinciding with the Israeli Prime Minister's visit to the White House on Monday.
The latest protest was organized by the group Within Our Lifetime that began outside the United Nations headquarters before making its way to the Midtown train station.
In a post on X, the group said they just wanted to "platform our message to one of the largest transportation hubs in the world."

Video circulating on social media shows NYPD shutting down multiple entrances to the station in response to the protest.
In other videos, protesters can be heard chanting "shut it down" and waving Palestine flags inside and outside the station.

It is unclear at this time if there were any arrests from Monday's protest.
