3 Kids In The Car During I-87 DWI Arrest, According To Troopers
The children in the car during the Clarkstown stop were safely released to a sober third party, New York State Police said.

CLARKSTOWN, NY — An early morning traffic stop led to the arrest of a driver who was potentially putting the lives of three children at risk, according to state police.
New York State Police say that on July 5, around 12:12 a.m., troopers from Tarrytown stopped a 2025 Acura traveling south on I-87, in the town of Clarkstown, for speeding.
While interviewing the driver, identified as 36-year-old Robens Altidor, of Monsey, troopers noticed signs of intoxication. He then failed standardized field sobriety tests.

Police found a 16-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 4-year-old also present in the vehicle. The children were safely released to a sober third party.
Altidor was arrested and taken to SP Tarrytown for processing, where he provided a breath sample with a BAC of 0.09 percent.

He was charged with three counts of acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17, driving while intoxicated (first offense), operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher (first offense) and traffic violations.
Altidor is scheduled to appear in court on July 30.
