Toddler Dies After Being Hit By Car In Kaser: Ramapo Police
She was 2 years old, police said.
RAMAPO, NY — Ramapo police were called to Calvert Drive in the village of Kaser at 3:11 p.m. Monday over a report that a vehicle had struck a child.
When they arrived, the officers were advised that a 2-year-old girl had been struck by a 2014 Honda Odyssey and had sustained life-threatening injuries. The child was transported to Nyack Hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance and later succumbed to her injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old resident of Monsey, was not injured and remained at the scene. The driver is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

The incident remains under investigation by the Crash Investigation Unit and there are no criminal charges at this time, police said.
