Here's the latest.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A winter storm will finish off the weekend in the region, and there's a hazardous outlook for Dutchess and Ulster counties.

A storm system will bring a period of snow and rain to the Hudson Valley for Sunday into Sunday night. Little is expected to accumulate in the southern end of the region, and light accumulation is expected for most of the Mid-Hudson, with potential for a moderate accumulation across the high terrain of the Catskills, the National Weather Service said.

"Two very different scenarios appear to be unfolding for the Hudson Valley region, mainly because of a warm layer of the atmosphere," said the folks at Hudson Valley Weather. "1 or 2 degrees will mean the difference between a slushy mess, mostly rain, or a moderate snowfall."

AccuWeather said any snow will be wet, and its duration and intensity will be the key to any accumulation, including along the I-95 corridor.
