New City Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Child: DA
The child was under age 13 at the time, according to the district attorney's office.
NEW CITY, NY — A local man is facing charges that he sexually abused a young girl over the course of several months.
Miguel Mishquero-Paguay, 34, of New City, was arraigned Monday in Rockland County Court.
Mishquero-Paguay has been charged with predatory sexual assault against a child, and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, according to the Rockland County District Attorney’s office.

Prosecutors claim Mishquero-Paguay abused the child, who was under age 13, between June 2022 and December 2023 at multiple locations in Rockland County.
Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II said, “My office remains committed to securing justice and will ensure the victim has the resources and support she needs as the criminal proceedings continue.”
