Rockland Animal Hospital Awarded Top North American Honor
Valley Cottage Animal Hospital was named one of the Top Four Animal Hospitals in North America by the American Animal Hospital Association.

ROCKLAND, NY - Valley Cottage Animal Hospital has been named one of the Top Four Animal Hospitals in North America by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. They are the first Animal Hospital in the New York Metro area to ever receive this prestigious recognition.
AAHA identified and selected four Animal Hospitals in the Companion Animal Category based on complex selection criteria that included factors such as standards of practice, quality of medicine, staff training, and community service. AAHA accredits veterinary hospitals based on over 900 standards covering quality of care, medical protocols, hospital facilities, doctor training, community service and charitable efforts. These standards go far beyond state regulations and only 15% of veterinary practices across the country have made this voluntary commitment to excellence.
