Upcoming Work To Close Some Palisades Parkway Ramps

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Two Palisades Interstate Parkway southbound ramps will be closed to facilitate catch basin repairs the week of Oct. 2.

The closures will be at the following times and locations:

• The Palisades Interstate Parkway southbound ramp to Exit 11 (New Hempstead Road) will be closed on Monday, October 2 and Tuesday, October 3, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• The Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound ramp to Exit 14 (Willow Grove Road) will be closed on Wednesday, October 4 and Thursday, October 5, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Motorists should follow the posted detour as an alternate.

Remember, slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your drivers license.
