Volunteer Opportunities Of The Week: Funminster Dog Show Volunteers

Every week, Patch will spotlight volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Each week, Patch will be highlighting volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley. This will be a chance to help your community and be an opportunity to give back — perhaps in a way you didn't consider before.

This week we are putting the spotlight on some opportunities in the Hudson Valley.

Volunteers 10+ can register alongside an adult.

Sort & Distribute Food to Families
Volunteers are needed to receive and distribute donated food for Head Start and Early Head Start families at North Street Center. Volunteers will receive and carry the donated food into the center and sort the bags for delivery to the classrooms. Families will pick up the food-filled bags at the end of the day. These donations will give families a boost throughout the weekend. This support allows the teachers to remain in their classrooms and continue teaching.
