Wrong-way Driver Charged With Felony DWI In Stony Point
The Tomkin Cove resident was on the southbound side of the road heading north, police said.
STONY POINT, NY — A Tomkins Cove resident who was convicted of drunken driving in the past 10 years faces a new felony charge of driving while intoxicated, Stony Point police said.
An officer saw a car headed north in the southbound lane on North Liberty Street at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 3, police said. Police conducted a vehicle stop, and after an investigation, placed Mynor Recinos-Gonzalez under arrest.
The 30-year-old has a previous conviction for DWI in the past 10 years, police said.

He was processed at the Stony Point Police Department and released with a court date of Aug. 15.
