(JERICHO, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) joined the members of the South Hempstead Fire Department and her colleagues in government at the Milleridge Inn on Monday, June 28 to honor recently installed Chief Bryant Carrington during the department’s 116th annual installation dinner. During the celebration, Legislator Mulé presented Nassau County Citations to Chief Carrington to commemorate his ascent to the department’s top role in the Department.
“In every corner of Nassau County, our homes and our lives are protected by selfless volunteers like those who step up to serve the residents of South Hempstead,” Legislator Mulé said. “It is always a privilege to celebrate our first responders, and I was delighted to have this opportunity to congratulate Chief Carrington and celebrate the commitment that is demonstrated by each of South Hempstead’s dedicated volunteer firefighters.
