D'latte has been a mainstay for making memories in the Village of Greenport for 20 years.

GREENPORT, NY — A well-loved mainstay in Greenport Village closed its doors Sunday.
According to a post on Facebook, Sunday marked the last day for the popular D'latte Cafe & Bakery on Main Street.
"Dear friends, With a heavy heart, we have to announce the closure of our Greenport cafe at 218 Main Street after 20 beautiful years. Our last day will be Sunday, February 4, 2024," the message read. "We want to take this moment to thank all of you who have supported us throughout this journey, making it full of love and laughter. We are truly grateful for the memories we have made here and will cherish them always. Although this is goodbye for now, we are excited to embark on the next chapter for D'latte, which our father, Frank, has always wanted. Stay tuned on social media for more updates."

On Sunday, another post offered a heartfelt goodbye: "We know we will see you all in the next chapter. Thank you to all the wonderful families whose kids we’ve watched grow, and to all the customers who have seen us change and evolve and made us laugh. . . We love this community so much, and we hope you all know how hard goodbye is for us, so instead, we will say, 'See you soon.'"
