Overturned Truck Shuts Down Portion Of Roadway On North Fork
A portion of County Road 48 near Elijahs Lane in Mattituck remained closed Tuesday morning for the overturned truck.
MATTITUCK, NY — An overturned truck in the eastbound lane of Route 48 just east of Elijahs Lane in Mattituck shut a portion of the roadway Tuesday morning, officials said.
No injuries were reported due to the incident, which took place at 6:23 a.m., officials said.
The eastbound lane was shut down at Elijahs Lane; the westbound lane remained open. As of 7:50 a.m., the road was still closed, officials said.
