Showtime Series 'Three Women' Filming At North Fork Bakery

The Blue Duck Bakery in Greenport will be closed Thursday and Friday as the Showtime series "Three Women" films, staffers say.

GREENPORT, NY — The Blue Duck Bakery Cafe in Greenport will be closed Thursday and Friday for the filming of the upcoming Showtime series "Three Women."

According to a post on the Blue Duck Bakery's Facebook page: "The bakery will be changed a bit from what it looks like now. We’ll keep you posted! We will reopen Saturday morning for all your Valentine and Super Bowl goodies."

According to Variety, "Three Women" is based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Lisa Taddeo.

"It is described as a portrayal of American female desire, in which three women are on a crash course to radically overturn their lives," the post said.

Starring in the series are Gabrielle Creevy, Shailene Woodley, DeWanda Wise and Betty Gilpin, Dateline reported.

The hour-long series is executive produced by Taddeo, Laura Eason, Kathy Ciric and Emmy Rossum; Louise Friedberg has signed on to direct the first two episodes, which she will also executive produce, Dateline added.
