SOUTHOLD, NY — A beloved annual tradition returns Friday at the Southold Historical Museum’s Candlelight Tour & Tree Lighting.

The event takes place Friday, November 28, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Maple Lane campus of historic buildings.
"Wander through twinkling lights and beautifully decorated historic homes, including the 18th-century Thomas Moore House and the Victorian Ann Currie-Bell House, each aglow with holiday cheer," organizers said. "Meet Santa in the barn, enjoy live music, and watch fascinating historic demonstrations that bring the past to life."

Children can join Santa’s helper for games on the lawn, and families can enjoy the classic model railroad display. Warm up with seasonal treats and refreshments available for purchase, and gather together at 5 p.m. for the tree lighting ceremony that caps off this festive evening
Admission is free; donations accepted.
