TIME-LAPSE VIDEO: Jockey Creek Floods

Reader sends us time-lapse video of Southold's Jockey Creek flooding then subsiding during Irene.

John Fischetti of Southold sent North Fork Patch this YouTube video of Jockey Creek in Southold as Irene came and went over the weekend:

"Erin, Just got internet access back in Southold and wanted to share this video I made during the storm. It's a 24-hour time-lapse taken from 2 p.m. Saturday to 2 p.m. Sunday (minus overnight) to illustrate the buildup of rain, winds and tide during the storm. Taken in Jockey Creek in Southold overlooking Peconic Bay and Shelter Island. Taken with GoPro Camera. Look for broken away Docks, Tidal flow into yards, and Tidal levels under bridges and over floating docks."
