NORTHPORT, NY — Bowie, a sweet male tabby, and his best friend, Chloe, a female black beauty rescued from the streets, born around March of 2024, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

Bowie has a very pronounced 'M' on his forehead, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

"He is adorable and sweet and a real purring machine," Wild said. "He met Chloe, his best friend in the whole world, in foster care. They are very bonded and must be adopted together."

Bowie likes to be picked up and will give people nose to nose kisses when they need them most, according to Wild. Chloe also likes to be picked up and is "just a beautiful soul," Wild said.

"They are both very affectionate and get along great with other cats, too," she said. "Sadly, they are growing up in our cages. Their personalities are formed and so you can be sure that if you adopt this pair, you will be getting two absolute sweethearts."

The 1-year-old furry friends are currently at Petco Huntington and love visitors.

Bowie and Chloe are neutered and spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
