'Chill' Hank And 'Silly' Lola: Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week
Hank and Lola, 10-month-old bonded siblings, are waiting for their first application. They are "spending their kittenhood in a habitat."

NORTHPORT, NY — Hank and Lola, 10-month-old bonded siblings, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
"These two amazing kittens were rescued as babies with their siblings from a kind lady's yard with their siblings, who have since been adopted, but Lola and Hank still wait," said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.
Hank is "so chill" and goes with the flow, according to Wild.

"He is very patient, waits his turn and cares deeply for his sister, Lola," she said. "Hank loves to chase his toys when someone throws them and purrs like a motor the second you come near him. He loves a good brushing and will roll on his back for love. Lola can be timid, but once she trusts you, she loves you hard."
Lola will look for her brother to test the waters and if he starts purring, she will run over for her pets, too, Wild said. She is incredibly soft and looks and feels like a Russian Blue, Wild noted.

"She loves to play and is totally silly with all her toys. Lola and Hank are often found lying in the same bed, snuggling up and purring."
They are currently at Petco Commack.
"Waiting and waiting, spending their kittenhood in a habitat," Wild said. "Strangely enough, they have yet to get even one application. As all the new younger kittens come in, they are hoping they won’t be overlooked. They are simply beautiful and if you are looking for a pair, these two are simply purrfect."
Hank and Lola are neutered and spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
If you are interested in meeting Hank and Lola, you may head to the Northport Cat Rescue website and fill out an application to let them know you would like to meet them or any of the rescue's wonderful kittens and cats. Or you can call NCRA at 631-606-2631 or email info@northportcatrescue.org.
