'Deserving' Josie And Juliette: Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week
Josie and Juliette, around 8 months old, are bonded sisters. Josie is timid, but Juliette is her rock.

NORTHPORT, NY — Josie and Juliette, bonded sisters around 8 months old, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
Josie and Juliette have not received one application since they’ve been in rescue, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.
"When visitors come to our adoption events or to Petco Commack where they are currently, Josie hides under her bed," Wild said. "She is timid, so she’s going to need somebody that has a little patience for her to come out of her shell, but once she does you will be so rewarded."

Juliette is her "rock," according to Wild.
"She is such a big personality but will always comfort her sister when she sees she is scared," Wild said. "They need to get out of the habitats and into a loving home so their personalities could flourish."

For Josie, being a shy kitten can be hard because they tend to get looked over, Wild said.
"Just because they’re timid doesn’t mean they don’t have this magnificent personality behind those eyes," Wild said. "She may be too shy to tell you what she wants, but most of them just want a friend.
"Juliette and her very chatty personality is enough to win anyone who meets her over," Wild continued. "She is silly and playful, and loves other cats, too. She will follow you around for attention and jump in your lap for affection."
Josie has a white freckle on her nose.
"She is quiet and reserved, and makes biscuits like nobody’s business!" Wild said. "She will hold her favorite stuffed animal and purr her little heart out. Josie loves other cats, too, especially her sister, Juliette. Please consider adopting these two deserving fur babies."

Josie and Juliette are spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
