Police ID Greenlawn Teen Killed In Collision
The boy, 13, rode his dirt bike through a traffic light and was hit by a car, police say.
EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A teenager riding a dirt bike was killed in a collision in East Northport on Saturday night, Suffolk police said.
Nicholas Woodworth, 13, of Greenlawn, was operating a Honda dirt bike when he went through a traffic light around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Larkfield Road and Pulaski Road and was struck by a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 49-year-old East Northport woman, police said.
Woodworth was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital.

The vehicle and dirt bike were impounded for safety checks. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
