East Northport Student Is 'Determined, Motivated, Scholarly'

EAST NORTHPORT, NEW YORK — New York is full of bright, driven young people making a difference in and out of the classroom. That’s why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to spotlight students excelling in academics, athletics and community service.

Tell us about your star student's accomplishments and why they deserve to be recognized on Patch!

As a student participating in the online homeschool curriculum offered through Adirondack Learning Academy, Sienna has maintained a 4.0 GPA in all of her college prep courses and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

To gain knowledge in the professional field she is interested in, Sienna is also taking a course on Human Anatomy offered through Harvard University’s edX program. She demonstrates a mature level of independence, academic ability, time management and initiative. She is a self-taught young musician with exemplary guitar skills and vocals. Sienna has been a student mentor to younger students at Adirondack Learning Academy and a group leader of their online school community activities.

In addition, she actively pursues volunteer opportunities within the East Northport area. She deserves to be recognized on Patch because of her academic accomplishments, her dedication to her studies and her commitment to upholding wholesome morals and values.
