Elwood Boys Soccer Coach Earns 300th Win

Lou Hanner, coach of the Elwood-John H. Glenn High School's boys varsity team, earned the milestone win against Half Hollow Hills West.

ELWOOD, NY — Lou Hanner, coach of the Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s boys varsity soccer team, earned his 300th career win, the school district announced.

Hanner's milestone victory came Friday, Oct. 7, when the Knights defeated Half Hollow Hills West. Through 13 games, Elwood remains undefeated this season.

“Congratulations to Coach Hanner for attaining this outstanding milestone,” Athletic
Director Dave Shanahan said via news release.
