'Inseparable' Chloe And Bowie: Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week
Chloe and Bowie, 1-year-old best friends, are each other's best friends in the "whole world" and must be adopted together.

NORTHPORT, NY — Chloe, a female black beauty, and her best friend, Bowie, a sweet male tabby, rescued from the streets and born around March of 2024, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
"Since then, they have been inseparable, playing and snuggling with each other," said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue. "Some think cats do not really bond to each other and often wonder if we, as a rescue, should keep them together. Well, Chloe and Bowie are proof that even though they are not siblings, they are as close as any pair can be. Where there is one, the other is always behind."
The "two peas in a pod" are currently in the rescue's habitats at Petco Huntington, and they can be found cuddling and cleaning each other.

"As affectionate as they are towards each other, they are total hams to anyone that will give them love," Wild said. "Bowie likes to be picked up and will give you nose to nose kisses when you need them most. Chloe is a purring machine. They get along with other cats beautifully."
At Petco Huntington, there is another pair of kittens named Jane and Bean Wild said.

"They were very scared in our habitats and were hiding under their blankets," she said. "When Chloe and Bowie arrived, all of that changed and they were instrumental in showing Jane and Bean that all would be OK. The four of them have become great friends, and Jane and Bean now come out and play and are as silly and loving as Chloe and Bowie. Chloe and Bowie are such loving and gentle souls and have yet to receive even one adoption application. They are growing up in our habitats but are patiently waiting for their happily ever after."
Chloe and Bowie are spayed and neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
