'Sweet' Janet And Chrissy; Max And Socks: Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week
Janet and Chrissy are bonded, while Max and Socks are bonded. All kittens are less than 6 months old. "They have been waiting so long."

NORTHPORT, NY — Janet and Chrissy, and Max and Socks, bonded pairs of siblings, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
Janet and Chrissy, born on June 4, had an "incredibly sad beginning," said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.
"A kind gentleman knew the kittens lost their mom through a terrible accident in his neighborhood," Wild said. "Mom hid her babies for safety, so he searched through the night and finally found them, a total of four kittens."

The rescue took the kittens in. Since then, Janet and Chrissy's siblings have both been adopted, according to Wild.
"These sisters are very bonded and must be adopted together," Wild said. "Since they lost their mom, they really found comfort in each other as little babies. These silly sisters love to wrestle in the bathtub! As much as they snuggle up together, often hugging each other as they lay together, they love to cuddle up with people just as much. They love pets and affection. They are gentle souls, who get along with other cats and dogs, too."

Max and Socks were born May 25. They are the "most handsome boys," Wild said. Max is very active and playful, while Socks is calmer and loving, she said. Both love being pet, getting picked up and being silly with each other.
Socks has his little white paws, just like he is wearing socks, Wild said.
"They are so fun and sweet. They were fostered with young children, other cats and dogs, too. In fact, they both loved the Great Dane they were fostered with, often cuddling up with her! Their siblings they were rescued with have been adopted, and Socks and Max are adorable kittens, so patient and kind, waiting for their turn. You can visit these perfect kittens at Petco Huntington!"
They are all so sweet and love visitors, Wild said.
"They have been waiting so long," she said. "The holidays are coming, and the habitats can be a lonely place when the hustle and bustle of the shoppers are over, and the lights go out at night. Please help us get these very deserving fur babies into a warm and cozy home."
They are spayed or neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
