SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Voters went to the polls on Tuesday to decide the NYS Assembly District 12 race between incumbent Keith Brown (R) and the challenger, Thomas Cox (D)

Brown emerged victorious, according to unofficial results.

  • Thomas Cox: 27,456 votes

The 12th State Assembly District covers Northport, East Northport, Centerport, Eaton's Neck, Asharoken and portions of Fort Salonga, Halesite, Greenlawn, Commack, Elwood, Dix Hills, Deer Park, and North Bay Shore.
