Special Preview: 'Upstream Color'
Shane Carruth, acclaimed director of “Primer,” returns in person with a vision of two people who lose everything and must find their way in a new and suddenly alien world. “Upstream Color” screens at a preview with the director who also acts in the film on Monday, April 8 at 7:30 pm; the film then opens on April 12, at Cinema Arts Centre, 423 Park Ave, Huntington.

Abstract Expressionism Reconsidered
The museum's exploration of the genre, including works by Diebenkorn, Frankenthaler, Hofmann, J. Ernst, Kline, Motherwell and Rothko. is open now through June 16. The lesser-known work of Fritz Bultman (see our photo) is also included.
Cost: Admission $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and above) and $4 for students and children (4 to12). Members are admitted free.

Frankie Valli Adds New Show at Westbury
Due to high demand, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons have added a third show on Sunday, April 14 at 7 p.m. to their scheduled performances at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury. The famed 1960s group made famous again by the Broadway hit "Jersey Boys" will perform Friday and Saturday, April 12 & 13 at 8 p.m. The added performance is on Sunday, April 14 at 7 p.m.
Cost: Tickets are $61.50 and $71.50.
