Northport-East Northport 2024-25 School Budget Passes

NORTHPORT, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Northport-East Northport School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2024-25 school budget by a margin of 2,202 votes to 1,536.
The district's budget is $187,932,561, up 2.67 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $157,214,163, up 2.33 percent.
Two seats were available on the board of education.

Carol Taylor (1,984 votes) and Michael Cleary (1,860 votes) won. Paul Darrigo (1,601 votes) and Victoria Bento (1,328 votes) fell short.
